Orus E. Miller, age 90, of Hartville went home to be with the Lord on Sunday night November 27, 2011. He was born on November 7, 1921 in Hartville, Ohio to the late Enos and Mary (Yoder) Miller. He was a life time resident of Marlboro Township where he farmed for years and was a custodian for Marlington Schools. Orus was also a life time member of Maple Grove Mennonite Church. Preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Katie Ann; son-in-law Robert Meyers; and brother Willis. He is survived by his children Mary Margaret Miller, Miriam Miller, Eugene and Carla Miller all of Hartville, Ellen Meyers of Massillon, and Shirley and Joe Violanti of Waynesburg; 6 grandchildren Angie and Mike Miller of Canton, Tara and Mike Mareno of IN, Chris Meyers of Massillon, John and Emily Davis of Canton, Melissa and Stephen Smith of Beijing, China, T.J. Miller of Hartville; 5 great-grandchildren Megan and Jeffrey Miller, Michael and Andrew Mareno, and Maverick Davis; brother Joe Miller of FL; and other relatives and friends. Calling hours are Tuesday (TODAY) 5-8 PM at Maple Grove Mennonite Church and funeral services are Wednesday 10 AM in the church with Pastor Myron Weaver officiating.
