Orland W. Borton, age 88, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday August 17, 2016 at Altercare of Alliance. He was born in Cambridge, Ohio on May 6, 1928. He was a machinist for Goodyear Tire and Rubber and a member of Cornerstone Christian Church. A favorite hobby was restoring engines.

He was preceded in death by his mother Eva Hall, father Orville Borton and 5 brothers.

Orland is survived by his wife of 66 years Barbara (Starr); sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Nancy Borton, Rick and Mary Jo Borton; grandchildren Brian and Jeff Borton, Laura (Mads) Stolsgard, Cole (Susan) Borton, Abby (Sean) O'Neill, Ben Borton; great-grandchildren Alfred Stolsgard, James Borton, Ryan and Will O'Neill; brothers and sisters and spouses Luella Sidel, Jenny Laase, Betty Kaser, Joanne Miller, Linda (Eldon) Yoder, Bill (Linda) Borton, Justine Borton, Diane Borton.

Calling hours are Sunday 4-6 PM and funeral services are Monday 12 noon, at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Final resting place is Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Assoc. or Cornerstone Christian Church.
