Orin N. Coblentz, age 87, of Hartville went to be with the Lord peacefully Tuesday evening July 29, 2008 at Aultman Hospital surrounded by his family after an extended illness. He was born in Hartville on May 5, 1921 to the late Noah and Lydiann (Slabaugh) Coblentz and was a life long farmer. After retirement he worked at the Hartville Market Place and Flea Market and he loved mowing weeds with his tractor. He was a member of Walnut Grove King Church. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Vera (Byler) Coblentz; seven children: Beth, Christine, Marion (Nancy) Coblentz all of Hartville, Sadie (Tom) Wagler of Montana, Kathryn (Ruben) Miller of Tennessee, Martha Yoder and Glenn (Violet) Coblentz all of Hartville; 26 grandchildren: Jason, Glendon, Ryan and Diana Coblentz, Zach (Sarah), Seth (Lindsay), Jared (Jalayne) and Eric Coblentz, Rosetta (Toby) Schmitt, Naomi (Jeremiah) Schmitt, Regina and Priscilla Wagler, Brenda (Roman) Yoder, Edith (Leon) Beachy, Vince, Alisa, Claudia, Lydia and Hannah Miller, Krysti, Katie, Kerianne, Kathleen and Jay Yoder, Andrew and Nova Coblentz; 11 great-grandchildren: Micah and Adella Coblentz, Makana and Mia Claire Coblentz, Tommy and Erianna Schmitt, Cynthia, Nolan and Marcia Yoder, Rachel and Rebecca Beachy; nine siblings: Daniel (Elsie) of Indiana, Earl of Illinois, Emma (Atlee) Miller of Minerva, John Henry (Anna) of Canada, Vernon (Laura) of Michigan, Amanda (John) Lehman of Belle Center, Nettie (Noah) Coblentz of Hartville, Roy (Rosanna) of Kentucky and Joe (Mary) of Michigan; step-siblings Fannie (John) Detweiler of Kentucky, Edna (Noah) Byler of Pennsylvania, Emma (Ben) Troyer of Oklahoma, John (Caroline) Mast of Washington, Mrs. Levi (Jean) Mast of Antrim; and many relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, step-mother Anna; three sisters Eva Troyer, Anna Mary Byler and Esther King; son-in-law Mel Coblentz and step-brother Levi Mast. Calling hours are Friday 2-4 and 6-9 PM in the Kaufman Center. Funeral services are Saturday 10 AM in the Kaufman Center. Final resting place is Walnut Grove Cemetery.
