Oreta M. Miner, age 91, of North Canton, passed away Saturday afternoon in Aultman Compassionate Care. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Benjamin and Mabel (Metzger) Bossert, Oreta was a 30 year volunteer for Aultman SICU family waiting room. Her memberships included Trinity United Church of Christ and the Welcome In Class. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ned Bair Miner and great-grandson, Thomas J. Tornero, Jr. Oreta is survived by her two sons, Alan (Robbin) Miner of Hartville and David (Deborah) Miner, of Canton; daughter, Marilyn (Larry) Black of Ashland; grandchildren, Aaron Miner, Kim (Randy) Lint, Leanne (Paul) Frye, Brian (Jen) Miner, Rebekah (Erik) Morrison, Timothy (Carly) Black; great grandchildren, Desiree (Kyle) Johnson, Jerrica Tornero, Kaylee & Kloe Morrison, Ellis Black, Nicholas Miner, William Bair Miner; great-great grandchildren, Alexandria Tornero, Madgalena Tornero, Kadence Johnson and Sebashton Johnson. A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in Henry Warstler Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. in Trinity United Church of Christ with Rev. Heather Haginduff officiating.
