Ora Bella Rosen Polsky, 103, passed away on October 10, 2010 in Canton, Ohio where she has resided since 2003. She was born in Jaffa, Israel on May 8, 1907. Ora was a member of Tuba Lodge, a women's civic organization in Philadelphia, and a Life Member of Hadassah. As a senior citizen she donated countless hours of her time knitting blankets for special needs babies for many Philadelphia hospitals as a member of Northeast Knitting Club, and for Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents Morris and Anna Sussman Rosen, her husband Philip, her sister Aviva Goodman Wenkaert, sister Geula Weinstein, and is survived by her nephew Fred (Mary) Weinstein of North Canton, niece Gwen (Joseph) Mennen of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, nephew Leonard (Kathleen) Levin of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and grand and great-grand nephews and nieces. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. A private memorial graveside service will be conducted at the Mount Sharon Cemetery near Philadelphia, PA.
