Olive Elizabeth Lyle was born in Wellsburg, W.VA, September 14, 1911 to Harry and Gertrude Melvin. She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, Canton, OH and their Lunch Bunch as well as serving as Deacon. She devoted her life to her church, her family, and her friends. She was predeceased by an infant brother, Samuel and her brothers Charles and Wilbert and her husband Bertram Galbraith in 1986. She is survived by her son Robert Melvin Lyle (Judy) of Hopewell, OH, daughter Mary Rebecca Lyle Kocsis of Magnolia, OH, grandchildren Kelly Ann Lyle Garber (Steve), of Hopewell, and Timothy Jay Lyle (Rachel) of Hebron, OH and great grandchildren Megan and Zachary Garber and Benjamin Lyle. Private burial will take place in Sunset Hills Burial Park. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at Canton Christian Home, 2550 Cleveland Ave. NW, Canton, OH on Saturday, December 28,2013 at 10:30 A.M. with visitation with the family at 10:00. Parking at Canton Christian Home will be in the East parking lot behind the building and the east entrance is to be used. Overflow parking will be at the Johnson Center.
