Olga R. Childress, age 79, of Canton, made the journey to meet her Heavenly Father, Tuesday morning, August 29, 2017 in Hennis Care Center of Bolivar. She was born in Welch, WV to the late Mike and Julia (Labroski) Roman. Olga had worked in the housekeeping department at Mercy Medical Center. In addition to her parents, Olga was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W.Childress in 2014. She is survived by children, Theresa L. (Michael) Patterson, Kenneth W. (Kim) Childress, II and Kevin W. Childress; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W. with Pastor Michael Kelley officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
