Norma Jean Haddix, age 87, of Canton passed away August 18, 2025. She was born in Canton on April 2, 1938, to Walter and Clara (Barthel) Brunner. Norma was always one to put others needs before her own, and her career reflected this. She spent time as an aid with Sara Care Adult Care services, was the activity coordinator for Convalescent Care, and privately served families healthcare needs. She also attended the Salvation Army Church, was a Sunbeam Leader, and attended Home League Women's meetings. Norma was the hub of activity for the family, and she enjoyed a good deal through auctions and estate sales.

She is preceded in death by her son Larry; brothers Russell (Wilma), Walter (Ruth), Paul, Ralph (Ruby), Harold, and James (Janet) Brunner; sisters Marie (Bob) Ward, Helen (Roy) Jewell and Dorothy (William) Weber.

Norma is survived by her son Gary (Pam) Haddix; grandchildren Phillip Bruder, Jeremy Bruder, Jason Haddix, and Mary Jean (Nick) McIntyre; great grandchildren Dakota McIntyre and Izabella McIntyre; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 12 – 1 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home at 1517 Market Ave N. Funeral services will be at 1 PM in the funeral home. Final resting place is Forest Hill Cemetery.
