Norma Greenbaum, age 86, of Canton, Ohio passed away on Sunday October 1, 2017 in the comfort of her son's home in Lexington, South Carolina with her caregiver and daughter-in-law Renee Greenbaum (whom Norma called her angel on Earth) at her side. She was born in Canton on January 18, 1931 to the late James Ralph and Martha (Phillips) Embly and graduated from Lincoln High School. Norma had been a member of Temple Israel.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Manuel, daughter Patricia Lab, brother Harvey Embly, granddaughter Katy Lab, and great-grandson Joseph.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Gene Dougherty of Canton, Joanne and Edgar Riberdy of Columbia, SC, Larry Lab of Canton; son and daughter-in-law David and Renee Greenbaum of Lexington, SC;11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Stephen Karl and Nicki Embly of Barberton, OH; sister-in-law Enid (Tootsie) Embly of Akron, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews she dearly loved.

Funeral services will be held Friday 11:00 AM at Arnold Funeral Home Canton with Rabbi Jon Adland officiating. Final resting place is North Lawn Cemetery beside her husband.
