Norma Jean "Shorty" Bingham, age 85, of Hartville formerly of Canton passed away Friday night February 1, 2013. She was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on March 28, 1927 to the late Jesse Hinkle and Ruth (Spellman) Hinkle- Rogers and was a graduate of Hower Vocational High School in 1946. She married Paul L. Bingham on February 14th, they celebrated 60 years of marriage and he passed away on August 17, 2008. She liked sewing, gardening, stamping and card making, nature and birds. She is survived by her son Paul (Geneva) Bingham of Pennsylvania, daughters Deborah (Larry) Thompson of Hartville, and Nancy Conner of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers. Her wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest with her husband Paul at the Military Cemetery in Rittman.
