Norene D. Domer, age 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior December 6, 2009 with her family by her side. Born April 4, 1928 in Marlboro Township, she lived most of her life there. She was raised by her grandparents, Charles and Marjorie Royer and by her mother Birdie Cherry. She graduated from Marlboro High School. Norene married Duane P. Domer on September 12, 1948 at Hartville Church of the Brethren and was married to him for 57 years before his death in January 2006. Norene was a member of Liberty Bible Church, Atwater, Ohio. Knowing Christ as her Savior, these scriptures impacted her life: "Eye hath not seen nor ear heard, neither has entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them that love Him." I Cor 2:9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast." Eph 2:8-9 Norene leaves behind the family she loved which includes her children, Joanna Kerns, Alliance, OH, Douglas (Lynn) Domer, Joplin, MO, Mitch (Lisa) Domer Rittman, OH, and Todd (Karen) Domer Ravenna, OH. Grandchildren, Jocelyn (Lane) Yeagley, Shawndra Rowe, Javan (Kari) Rowe, Cheyenne Kerns, Erin (Michael) Pfleegor, Damon (Christina) Domer, Kalah Domer, Luke Domer, T.J. Domer and Kaitlin Domer. Great-grandchildren, Dustin Rowe, Curtis Bean, Cody Rowe, Tabitha Switzer, Isaiah Rowe, Eden Rowe, Kadance Kerns, Parker Pfleegor, Jonah Pfleegor and Gwyneth Pfleegor. Calling hours are Tuesday 5-7 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home Hartville and one hour prior to services Wednesday in the church 12 noon - 1 PM. Funeral services are Wednesday 1PM Liberty Bible Church, Atwater with Pastor Paul Phillips officiating. Final resting place is Mount Peace Cemetery.
