Nora Louise Denayer
Louise Denayer, age 98, passed away from this world on May 3, 2018 at Bethany Nursing Home. Born in Prosperity, Pennsylvania on March 3, 1920, she was the daughter of Goldie and Arthur James Day and attended McKinley High School. She married Frank Denayer on March 12, 1939 in Wellsburg, West Virginia. Louise had been active with Nazir Caldron and Eastern Star. She especially adored her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; her 4 sisters, Leona Miller, Juanita McGuier, Maxine Snyder, and Virginia Wagner; and 2 daughters, Patricia Whitmyer and Toni Ellen Denayer. She will be deeply missed by her children, Donald and Virginia Denayer of Salisbury, Maryland, Sharon DeNayer and Robin Downing of Windsor, Colorado, John and Karen Denayer of San Antonio, Texas, and Steve and Cheryl DeNayer of Canton; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 13 great, great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; special longtime friend, Carroll Wooster; and many loyal friends.
Calling hours are Sunday 5-7 PM and one hour prior to services Monday (10-11 AM) at Arnold Funeral Home Canton. Funeral services will be Monday 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Chaplain Mark Ballard officiating . Final resting place is Sunset Hills Burial Park. Memorials may be made to Bethany Nursing Home and Crossroads Hospice.
