Noah Coblentz, age 71, of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord Friday morning September 2, 2011 with family by his side. He was born February 11, 1940 in Hartville to the late Mose and Amanda (Sommers) Coblentz. Noah was a self employed construction worker and retired maintenance worker for Lake Center Christian School. He was a member of Bethany Mennonite Church. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nettie; children Amanda Coblentz of Indiana, Lydiann (Ken) Sommers of Uniontown, Marjorie (Joe) Hershberger of Louisville, Andy (Charlene) Coblentz of Hartville, Matt (Stephanie) Coblentz of Uniontown, Mark (Julia) Coblentz of Indiana, Marlene (Chad) Dutcher of Hartville; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; siblings Elmer (Mattie) of Delaware, David (Ruth) of Michigan, Enos (Burneda) of Michigan, Etta Detweiler of Florida, Katie (Levi) Troyer of North Canton, Raymond (Edna) of Hartville; Sister-in-law Elsie Coblentz of Kentucky, brother-in-law Buddy Dalton of Canton; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by siblings Roman, Elva Dalton and Mervin. Calling hours are Sunday 2-4 7 6-8 PM at Bethany Mennonite Church. Funeral services will be Monday 10 AM in the church with Pastor Dave Slabaugh officiating. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
