Nimrod Dinar, age 79, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 17, 2018. He was born November 9, 1938 in Israel to the late Aaron and Racheal Dinar. He met Ellen T. Tolstoi when she was vacationing in Israel. They married June 11, 1967 in the United States and moved to Israel for three years. Returning to the United States they lived in Uniontown, PA and they welcomed their two children Jessica and Dan Dinar. In 1979 they made their home in Canton. Nimrod was a retired financial planner, a dog lover, and an avid gardener. He was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed shopping at Target and volunteered for many causes including the Humane Society. His son, Dan, and he were inseparable as they did so many things together.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Jessica and Steve Sullivan of Colorado; son Dan Dinar of Canton; sister-in-law Linda Tolstoi and brother-in-law Harvey Tolstoi both of Uniontown, PA; four legged daughter Abbie; and neighbors and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ellen on February 21, of this year.

Calling hours will be Monday 1-2 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Canton Graveside service will be Monday 2:30 PM at North Lawn Cemetery with Rabbi Jon Adland officiating. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
