Nicholas M. Resanovich, age 74 of North Canton, passed away Saturday morning, November 5, 2011 in St. Luke Lutheran Home. He was born March 23, 1937 in Port Colbourne, Ontario, Canada to Milosh and Julia (Dobrich) Resanovich. Nicholas graduated from Canton Lincoln High School and was a Quality Control supervisor at Gregory Galvanizing, retiring in 1978. He was a member of St. George Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Wm McKinley Lodge #431 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Canton and had coached little baseball. Nicholas was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline February 22, 2005 and a brother Alex. He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Martin Popovich of Canton, Debra Resanovich of Louisville, Mary-Beth and Aaron Fadorsen of Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Denice Resanovich of Green; brothers, Joseph (Louise) Resanovich of Massillon, Peter (Patricia) Resanovich of Bolivar, George of Canton; sister-in-law Roberta of Canton; grandchildren, Josh Anderson, Julie Anderson, Kristina (Bryan) Taggart, Kyle Resanovich, Nicholas Cunningham, Sara Cunningham, Bryan Fadorsen, Katie Fadorsen; great grandchildren, Hannah Anderson and Christian Mateer. Funeral Services will be Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at St. George Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, 4667 Applegrove St. North Canton with the Very Rev. Dragan Filipoic celebrating the Mass. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
