Obituary

Newton C. Croft, age 89, of Hartville, passed away on Sunday November 8, 2015 just 22 days shy of his 90th Birthday. He was born in Barberton, Ohio on November 30, 1925 to the late Joseph and Letha (Miller) Croft and served in the Navy during WW II and served in the Army Reserve. He, with his wife Virginia, owned and operated Hartville Mini Storage. During retirement he enjoyed wintering in Florida. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his wife Virginia on June 25, 2007; siblings Bill and Bob Croft and Mary Myers. He is survived by his sons David (Chicky) Croft of Uniontown, John (Sandy) Croft of Strongsville, Tom (Kris) Croft of Hartville; grandchildren David and Amanda, Christopher and Brittany, John and Laurie, Matthew, and Caitlin Croft; great-grandchildren Samantha, Abigail, Annabella and Delilah; sister-in-law Carol (Ed) Kane. Calling hours are Wednesday 4-7 PM at Arnold Funeral Home, Hartville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday 10:30 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Fr. John Zapp celebrant.
