Nettie T. Zilla, age 89, of North Canton, passed away Wednesday, evening in the Laurels of Massillon after an extended illness. Born in Canton to the late Robert G. and Agnes (Borthwick) Todd. She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church and Eastern Star. In addition to her parents Nettie is preceded in death by her husband; Joseph Zilla in 2006 and son-in-law; David Ziesmer in 2008. Nettie is survived by her daughter Nancy Jo Ziesmer of North Canton, grandsons; Bryan of Canton and Scott of Canal Winchester; Nephew; Robert Todd of Canton. A service was held on Monday for family and friends with Rev. Doug Patton officiating officiating, with entombment in Forest Hill Mausoleum.
