Nettie Hedden, age 82, of Canton, passed away on Wednesday morning November 6, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Waco, Ohio on April 29, 1931 to the late Elmer and Ida Mae (Rollins) Meese. She was the youngest of 16 children. Nettie worked for years at the old Mercy Hospital and then Timken Mercy. Preceded in death by her husband Arch on Nov 5, 2005, daughter-in-law Nancy, son-in-law Ray Wells; she is survived by her children Tom and Ruby Hedden of Canton, Linda and Bob Hiles of Navarre; grandchildren Ray and Angie Wells of Brewster, Kimberly Hedden of Flowery Branch, GA, Pete Smith of Canton; 9 great-grandchildren Jessica and Megan Wells, Andrew Mayle, Ryan and Jacob Rowley, Tyler and John Evans, Peter Smith and Wyatt Smith. Calling hours are Sunday 2-4 PM at Arnold Funeral Home and an hour prior to services (Monday 10-11 AM). Funeral services are Monday 11 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Mark Paul officiating.
