Nelson V. Schlabach, age 93, of Mogadore, went home to be with the Lord on Friday August 5, 2022 at Walnut Hills Nursing and Retirement in Walnut Creek where he had recently resided. He was born in Uniontown on January 31, 1929 to the late Valentine and Rebecca (King) Schlabach. He was a masonry contractor and member of Maple Grove Mennonite Church.

Survived by his sister Mabel Weaver and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings and siblings-in-law, Alta (Jake) Beachy, Lester (Sylvia) Schlabach, Emma (Phineas) Miller, Magdelena (Levi) Troyer, Lydia (Jonas) Miller, Crist (Amanda) Schlabach and Ernest Weaver.

Calling hours are Monday 6-7:30 PM and one hour prior to services Tuesday 1-2 PM all at Maple Grove Mennonite Church. Services are Tuesday 2 PM in the church with Pastor Nathanael Hofstetter Ressler officiating. Final resting place is Walnut Grove Cemetery.
