Neil R. "Doc" Davis, age 71, of Hartville and formerly of Marion, Illinois, finally received his reward on Tuesday May 24, 2022. He was born in Carbondale, IL to the late Raymond and Alice (Turner) Davis, graduated from Marion High School and John A. Logan College, and earned his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Chiropractic and his Servant Leadership Certification from Anderson Church of God.  He had a passion for helping people both physically and spiritually.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Tresa and they shared their love of music and ministry; son Jon Davis and fiancée Lacey Johnston; siblings-in-law Narsie (Tom) McVey-Cyrus, Rodney (Lynda) Gillman, Richard Gillman, Rhonda Harrison; and a myriad of other relatives and friends.

Calling hours are Saturday, May 28th, 12 noon- 2 PM at Hartville Church of God. Funeral services begin promptly at 2 PM with Rev. Philip Miller officiating. Committal services will be Tuesday May 31st, 1 PM at the Goddard Chapel in Rosehill Cemetery with Rev. Mark Fisher officiating and burial immediately following in Maplewood Cemetery Marion, IL.
