Neal T. Orndorff, age 70, of Akron went home to be with the Lord on July 27, 2022. He was born August 25, 1951, to Wayne and Doris Ann (Hohlbaugh) Orndorff. He is a graduate of Ellet High School class of 1971 and following graduation began his career in the trucking industry in the Akron area where he was a lifelong resident. He owned N & N Trucking, was in overnight trucking for over a decade, worked for Sunoco products, as well as Benson Trucking. Neal was a lifelong member of Springfield Assembly of God and was a loving caregiver to his mother, his late wife of over 34 years, Nancy, and daughter Julie.

Along with his parents, Neal is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; son Dwayne Orndorff; daughter Julie Westfall; grandson Nicholas Westfall; and brother Bruce. He is survived by his children Bill Westfall, Jeff (Ida) Westfall, and Johnny (Julie) Fockler; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Rebecca (Rick) Gilleylen and sister-in-law Janet Orndorff.

The family would like to thank Summa Hospice for their care of Neal for the past 10 months as well as the family and friends who provided meals and prayers. A special thank you to Jeff who has been such a support the last 10 months, as well as Maple Grove Mennonite Church for meals and prayers provided as well. Lastly, the family would like to thank Dan and Barb Dutcher for their loving support and care.

A graveside service will be held Friday July 29, at 10 AM at Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery with Rob Martin officiating.
