Nancy Jo Ziesmer

Nancy Jo Ziesmer, age 80 of North Canton, passed away on October 21, 2026.

Nancy Jo was born on June 25, 1946, in Canton, Ohio to the late Joe and Nettie (Todd) Zilla. She graduated from Glenwood High School and then went on to Malone College where she earned her teaching degree and met the love of her life, David. Nancy Jo taught 1st grade at Waco Elementary in Canton until becoming a full-time wife and mother. Nancy Jo enjoyed baking, doing crafts, specially making wreathes, and decorating the house for holidays. She liked spending time with her friends; going to see fireworks and hot air balloons. Nancy Jo enjoyed watching reality TV shows. She was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church. Above most things, Nancy Jo loved animals, especially her dog Ginger.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David.

Nancy Jo will be deeply missed by her sons, Bryan James Ziesmer and Scott (Erin) Ziesmer.

Friends and family may come to call on Monday, November 2, 2026, from 10-12 at Arnold Funeral Home, 4817 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, Ohio. Funeral service will follow at 12 PM. Entombment at Forest Hill Cemetery.
