Nancy Joan Lockmeyer (Ritchie, Schliffka) Stermer, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at the age of 85. Nancy graduated from Timken High School in Canton, OH. She enjoyed attending monthly gatherings with classmates who had become lifelong friends. Nancy was an avid reader and participated in programs at the Stark County District Library. Canton's history was something Nancy was passionate about. She loved researching and learning about the many contributions that Canton's history had on Ohio and our Nation. In addition to her spouse, Dale G. Stermer, she is preceded in death by her brother, Richard David Lockmeyer; son, David James Ritchie; and daughter, Teri Ann Chandler. Nancy is remembered by her remaining children: Randy Lee Ritchie (Dennis Braun) of Davie, FL, Tracey Ritchie Crawley (John) of Newport News, VA, Eric Schliffka (Glynnis) of North Canton, OH; grandchildren: Mark Fisher, Tim Fisher, Nathan Fisher, John Crawley, Danielle Crawley Sander (Josh), Leah Chandler Christopherson (Nathan), Kara Chandler Wallace, Conner Schliffka and Elise Schliffka; great grandchildren: Kiley Chandler, Shiloh Wallace, Asher Christopherson.
