Nancy A. Bartchy, age 87, of Canton, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022. She was born in Fostoria, Ohio to the late Robert and Winifred (McDole) Snuggs. Nancy was an avid book collector, enjoyed reading, crocheting, puzzles and working puzzle books. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and Friends of the Library. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, T. David Bartchy;  brother, Robert Snuggs and grandson, Eric Murphy. Nancy is survived by daughters, Susan (John) Effinger, Julie (Dan) Plott and Beth (Jim) Hoffman; brother, Joseph Snuggs; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Wednesday, February 9th in the Arnold & Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Avenue NW with Rev. Andrew Taylor Peck and Rev. Nick Nicholson officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service (12-1).
