Nancy (Byham-Fortney) Eisenbrei 83 of North Canton, passed away peacefully at home on September 21, 2021.  She was born May 21, 1938, in Canton, Ohio to the late Leonard and Mary (Gerkin) Byham.  Nancy graduated from Canton Central Catholic High School in 1956.  Nancy retired from the Ohio Bell Telephone Company, later AT&T following a 38-year career.

Nancy had the gift of hospitality and was happiest when she was making a new friend or serving others.  She was active in many charities and looked for ways to help others.  She leaves behind many friends in Canton, Marble Head, and Haines City, Florida.  Her final years were enriched by her church family at the Open-Door Baptist Church and her many friends at The Danbury in North Canton.

Nancy was proceeded in death by her husband Robert Eisenbrei, and her brother John Byham.

She is survived by her children Jane (Leonard) Kueking of Canal Fulton, Douglas (Dominique) Fortney of Green, Gregory (Jill) Fortney of Columbus.  Her grandchildren are Christopher Lumpp, Andrew (Kristen) Lumpp, David (Britny) Fortney, Jamie Beth Fortney, Samuel Fortney, and Sydney Fortney.  Nancy had three great-grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of her life at her final resting place at Calvary Cemetery, 3469 Lincoln Way E, Massillon Ohio.  Arrangements are with Arnold Funeral Home, Canton.  In place of flowers the family requests donations in her memory to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Ohio.
