Nancy Brumbaugh Allison
Nancy went home on December 28th, 2021. She was born and lived in Hartville all her life, but for the ten years that she lived in Sandusky, Ohio.
While in Sandusky, she worked for the Continental Baking Company. Upon returning to Hartville, she was employed at Monarch/Teledyne Co., Oakwood Country Club, and then spent her remaining working years from 1987 – 2009 at Hartville Meadows – Gentlebrook.
Nancy loved Hartville and was very proud of her Brumbaugh and Hoover heritage, and the role those families played in settling this area. She was a member of East Nimishillen Church of the Brethren and belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star.
Nancy was preceded in death by parents Lillian A. and Albert J. Brumbaugh, brother James A. Brumbaugh, and sons David L. and Edward R. Baldwin. She is survived by daughter Marilyn A. Wallace, and grandsons Jonathan E. and David J. Wallace.
The family would like to acknowledge the efforts of and give thanks to Dr. Christopher Stetler and Nurse Miranda, Dr. Randall Harris, and Dr. Mike Temple, as well as the hardworking staff of Mercy Hospital, including Nurses Bree and Jen from the hospice team that comforted Nancy in her final hours.
Calling hours for the family will be held Monday at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville, followed by private graveside services at Mount Peace Cemetery.
