Myrtle W. Salle age 94, of Canton, passed away Thursday April 12 at St. Luke Lutheran Home. She was born May 30, 1923 in Canton to Herman and Bella (Tuchman) Weintraub. Myrtle attended Ohio State University and left before graduation to help her country with the war effort. She was a member of Shaaray Torah Synagogue, Hadassah, and B'Nai B'Rith.

She is survived by her sons Herbert (Robin) Salle, Mike (Barbara) Salle; grandchildren Erica (Jason) Kukoleck, Chad (Nicole) Salle, Tiffany Salle, Brandee Gill; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl in 1984, sisters Faye Kail, Caroyln Sax; and brother Bob Weintraub.

A graveside service will be held Monday April 16, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Canton Hebrew Cemetery with Cantor Bruce Braun officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Shaaray Torah Synagogue. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at St. Luke and Compassionate Care Hospice
