Muriel L. Wiseman Lorson, 85 Born October 19, 1924 in Canton, Ohio, Muriel departed this life for eternal peace on Friday, February 19, 2010. Muriel was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Emmett Dean on September 8, 2009, parents Rebecca Hager Wiseman and Richard Calvin Wiseman, brothers Chester, Richard, Earl, Roy, and Paul Wiseman, sisters Jane Harmon, Lois Charleston, Hazel Reichenbach and infant Doris Wiseman. She graduated from Canton McKinley High School in 1942. Muriel is survived by her children Barbara Lorson Roderick (Willard) of North Canton, Richard Carl Lorson of Reno, NV., grandchildren Hilary McHenry (Scott) of Canton, Nathan Roderick of Columbus, Amelia and Jared Lorson of Reno, NV and numerous nieces and nephews. Muriel married Dean on November 28, 1946. During her career Muriel was employed by Diebold, Hercules, Stark County Board of Elections, Key Bank and retired from the North Canton Credit Union. She was a member of First Church of the Resurrection where she was active in the Come Double Class and the Flora C. Heidrick Circle. Muriel was a loving wife, parent, grandparent and friend to many. To know her was to know the joy of laughter and friendship. Her smile could light up a room. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff and residents at Bethany Nursing Home, where she received loving and excellent care over the past seven and a half years. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at First Church of the Resurrection, 901 E. Tuscarawas St., Canton, Ohio, with Dr. Rev. Bruce Mont officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4:00 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton and Monday one hour prior to the services (10-11:00 AM) in the church.
