Miriam F. Foxman, 93, of Portland, OR, formerly of Keego Harbor, MI, died on 27 June 2014. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Dr. Daniel L. Foxman. Cherished mother of Eric (Pamela) Foxman, Martin Alan (Sheryl) Foxman and Rachel (Michael Strickling) Foxman. Loving grandmother of Jessica (Seth) Rosenblatt, Sara (Mark) Conway and Shelly (Thomas) Cardwell. Proud great grandmother of Delaney, Paige and Erin Rosenblatt, Jillian and Joshua Conway, and Wesley and Daniel Cardwell. Dear sister of Sarah (the late Herman) Netler and Max L. (Josephine) Friefield. At 40 years old, Ms. Foxman attended Oakland University and got her degree, and she taught for 18 years as a middle school teacher. She was a volunteer for 50 years with the Red Cross, she was a docent at the Holocaust Memorial Center and she volunteered at the Oakland County Historical Society. A Funeral will be held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Tuesday, 1 July 2014 at 10:00 AM . Rabbi Joseph Krakoff will officiate.
