Miriam J. Beachy, age 61, of North Canton, departed this life and entered her eternal reward on Tuesday October 7, 2008 at Aultman Hospital after a courageous six year battle with cancer. She was born in Hartville, Ohio on October 21, 1946 to the late Jonas N. and Edna (Schrock) Gingerich and attended Lake Center and Hartville Christian Schools. Miriam was a lifelong member of Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church where she taught younger children's Sunday School Classes. She loved to sing with the Hartville Singers. She is greatly loved and will be deeply missed by her husband of 40 years this past June, Lloyd Beachy; 3 children Ryan and Eunice Beachy, Tina and Richard Denlinger, Karen and David Miller; grandchildren Robyn, Kayla, Cassidy Beachy, Caleb, Katrina, Patrick Denlinger, Abby and Lydia Miller; siblings Elmer and Martha Gingerich, Joe and Kris Gingerich, Naomi and Ellis Gordon, Joanne and Dave Miller, Chris Munchausen; and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by sisters Esther Sommers and Dorcas Munchausen. Calling hours are Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church.
