Mina L. Baines, age 82, of North Canton, passed away Saturday afternoon, November 18, 2006, in Altercare of Canton. Mina was born in Mangum, OK on December 20, 1923 to the late James and Molly (McGovern) Burger. She retired in 1985 as an assistant finance director for the city of North Canton. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William W. Baines; daughter and son-in-law Paula and Donald Hillenbrand of Canton; brother Alva (Mary Beth) Burger of Lake Texoma, OK; and grandson John W. Hillenbrand. She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. Following cremation the family will receive friends for a time of fellowship on Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton.
