Mildred M. Cochran, age 87, of Canton passed away on Sunday February 27, 2011. She was born in Rantoul, IL on April 12, 1923 to the late Fred and Bessie (Stalter) Wright and graduated in 1941 from Canton South High School. She worked for 34 years at Hercules in the factory and shipping office. For years Mildred was a member of Canton Christian Church and more recently a member of Perry Christian Church. Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Blake A. Cochran on November 12, 2009; 2 sisters Bernice Knotts and Louise Whalen; and 4 brothers Clarence, Lowell, Lyle and Merle Wright. She is survived by her sister Margery Haynam of Minerva; brothers Ray (Ann) Wright and Gene (Thelya) Wright of FL; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Wednesday 6-8 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home Canton. Funeral services are Thursday 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Rod Geiger officiating.
