Mike Z. Milanovic, age 90 of Uniontown passed away Tuesday April 22, 2008 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Brzan, Serbia on August 6, 1917 to Zivota B. and Kosara (Zlatkovic) Milanovic and came to the US (Rittman, OH) in 1951. After 30 years of service, he retired in 1981 from PCA and moved to Uniontown in 1987. He loved the flea market and his two pet cats, Tom and Felix. He was a member of AARP and traveled on their bus trips with his wife. Before immigrating, Mike was a Prisoner of War during WW II and once released, worked for the English Occupation in Germany. He met his wife of 52 years, Minna (Bellersheim) in Rittman. Preceded in death by two sons, Tomislav and Milodrag Milanovic and sister Milka Nesic. He is survived by his wife Minna; two daughters and son-in-law, Pamela and Mark Halter of Fresno, OH and Vera Baker of North Royalton, OH; four grandchildren Mark (Tera) Pelfrey, Erin Farson, Stephanie (Patrick) McBrearty, Katherine Baker; five great-grandchildren Nathan and Hailey Farson, Samantha and Rebekah Pelfrey, Patrick G. McBrearty. Calling hours are Saturday 12 noon to 1 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. A graveside service for family follows the calling hours at Mount Peace Cemetery.
