Michele Jean Allen, age 42, of Hartville, lost her hard fought battle with cancer Wednesday morning January 17, 2018. She was born January 13, 1976 in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph L. and Donna (Troesch) Allen. She was as 1991 graduate of Montpelier High School and 4 County Joint Vocational School in the Early Childhood Education Program. She was a two year member of the Montpelier High School Band. In 2012, she graduated from Brown Mackie College in Ft. Wayne. Michele worked in retail, most recently at CVS in Green and Lowe's in North Canton. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary and Advent Lutheran Church.

Survived by her parents Joe and Donna; brother Dr. Matthew J. (Melissa) Allen of Green; sister Mary Jo (Ron) Smith of Defiance; 2 nieces Rebecca Eberly and Breila Allen; 2 nephews Andrew Rohrs and Lucas Allen; and aunt Linda (Robert Scott) Fosnight of Ravenna.

Calling hours are Saturday 10:30- 12 noon at Advent Lutheran Church. Funeral services are 12 noon in the church with Rev. Bob Cheyney officiating. Final resting place is Mount Peace Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Advent Lutheran Church, 1516 Edison St., NW, Uniontown, OH 44685.
