Michael A. Vergis, age 58, of Canton passed away on Tuesday February 21, 2012. He was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on July 18, 1953 to the late John C. and Alice (Barker) Vergis, graduated from McKinley High School and Kent State University. He served in the US Air Force. Mike had worked for Stark County MRDD. Survived by his wife Jane; siblings John and Dinah, Rebecca and David Maison, Janice and Anton Zopel, Patricia, Timothy and Lisa; children Adele and Anthony; uncle Robert and Bonnie Barker; and cousins Shane, John, Robert and Crystal. Friends may call Thursday 5-8 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home Canton. Funeral services are Friday 1:00 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Steve Manko officiating.
