Obituary

Michael "Mike" Anthony Schumacher, age 70, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday August 12, 2021. He was born February 2, 1951 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Walter W. and Madeline (Pfeffer) Schumacher and graduated from Woodsfield High School and Marietta College. He was happily retired and an active member of Little Flower Catholic Parish where he served as Assistant Treasurer and former President for their Men's Club. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events and spending time with family.

He is survived by his 4 children Pete, Zak, A.J. (Sarah) Schumacher, Liz (Josh) Carr and their mother Dolores Habig; grandchildren Kingston, Riley and Grayson Carr; brothers Dan (Barb), Joe (Bobbie) and Sam (Jill) Schumacher; sisters Rita (Donald) Biedenbach, Jane Landefeld, Monica Habig; and other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by daughter-in-law Stacey Schumacher; sisters Amy Biedenbach, Mag Welsh.

Friends may call Sunday 4-7 PM at Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Ave.,N. A Funeral Mass will be Monday 10 AM at Little Flower Catholic Parish, Canton, with Very Rev. Canon Christopher Henyk, celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Little Flower Men's Club.
