Michael E. Porter, age 48, of Canton, passed away Tuesday morning in Aultman Hospital. Michael was born in Canton to Chester and Barbara (Mann) Porter. He had attended McKinley High School, enjoyed working, fishing and having fun. Michael loved his family and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his son; Michael E. (Loni) Porter II and daughter; Victoria (John) Martinez, grandchildren Michael III and Bruce. Siblings; Judy, Candy, Chet, Bill and Phyllis also survive. Michael is preceded in death by his beloved dog, Shane. Friends may call on Monday, 6 to 8 PM in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas St. W. Funeral service and interment will be private for the family.
