Obituary

Michael Paul Clay, age 72, of Canton, has taken one last breath surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday January 20, 2010 and will spend eternity in Heaven free from pain and suffering. He was born May 1, 1937 in Buffalo, NY to the late Arvine and Jeanette Clay and served in the US Air Force. He worked at Republic Steel for 42 years. Survived by his wife of 49 years Grace (Fausnight); children Wendy (Dan McCartney) Clay, Michael J. (Jessica Stinchcomb) Clay, Lori (William) Miller all of Canton; grandchildren Christina Riley, Stacey Horning, Bryan Clay, Tara Murdock, Colin Stinchcomb, Allison, Ashley and Kylee Miller; great-grandchildren Caden and Delaney Riley, Evyn Eakle, Ethyn Broad, Brianna, Caleb, Abigail and Alexa Clay; mother-in-law Frances Fausnight; siblings Ronald (Karen) Clay, Robert (Linda) Clay, Judy (James) Klemens, Donald Clay, Dennis (Joyce) Clay, Linda (Jamie) Geier; and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by siblings Arvin Clay, Jedidah Mecca, Carol Clay and Jon Clay; father-in-law Atlee Fausnight; sister-in-law Rita Clay; and nieces Patricia Jenkins and Katie Clay. Calling hours are Sunday 3-6 PM and one hour prior to services Monday 2-3 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home. Funeral services are Monday 3 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Bullock officiating. He will be laid to rest with military honors on Tuesday 11 AM in the Ohio Western Reserve National Military Cemetery in Rittman Ohio.
