Michael C. Moor, 50, of Hartville, passed away on August 17, 2024 after a brief illness. He was born in Canton, Ohio on November 23, 1973 to the late Charles "Sonny" and Ann (Amick) Moor.

He was a 1992 graduate of Lake High School and then furthered his education at Kent State University where he obtained an associate's degree in horticulture.

His degree led him into his career with Rice's Landscaping and then Smith Bros. Inc. of Medina where he worked as a loader operator for both establishments.

Mike was also a self-taught mechanic, enjoyed attending tractor pulls and NASCAR races.

One of his best attributes was his generosity towards his friends. He was always their go-to if their car needed fix or even if they needed a place stay. Mike's home was always their home.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his uncle Lowell Amick and aunt Betty J. (Moor) Fahrni.

He is survived by his cousins Tom Fahrni and Jennifer Clevinger; aunt Mary Amick; as well as many friends and other extended family members.

A celebration of Mike's life will be held on Thursday, August 22nd at 7:00 p.m. at Arnold Funeral Home-Hartville. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until the time of the service.

Mike will be laid to rest with his parents at Mount Peace Cemetery, privately.
