In God's sovereign time, Michael Jacob Gehrett, age 21, of Randolph, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Thursday September 16, 2010. He was born on February 14, 1989 in Akron and graduated from Heritage Christian High School in Canton. He was a senior at Mt Vernon Nazarene University in Mount Vernon, Ohio studying criminal justice. He participated in many sports especially soccer. He traveled and went hiking and back packing with his family. Michael also enjoyed sports cars. Preceded in death by his grandmother Sara Ruth and grandfather James E. Gehrett; he is survived by his parents Larry and Carolyn Gehrett of Randolph; sister Becky (Bill) Nichols of GA; brother Kevin Gehrett of Randolph; niece Kaitlin Nichols; grandfather Jacob Ruth of PA ; grandmother Cleo Gehrett of PA; and many other relatives and friends.
