Michael C. Garvin, age 59 of Uniontown, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014, in Aultman Hospital. He was born August 19, 1954, in Ravenna, Ohio to Charles and Maxine (Baker) Garvin. Michael graduated from Ravenna High School in 1973 and attended Kent State University, IT Technical Institute and was a Heavy Haul Division Manager for Miller Transfer. In the 1990's Mike played drums and sang for the Country Jammer Band. His greatest love has always been his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Kathleen; daughter, Theresa of Uniontown; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Danielle Garvin of Cuyahoga Falls; mother Maxine; sister and brother-in-law, Suzie and Bill Madlem of Rootstown; grandchildren, Natalie and Shannon Garvin. Following cremation the family will receive friends Thursday evening 4-7:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville.
