Merle F. Kiener, age 77, of Hartville, passed away Sunday morning, January 19, 2014 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center. He was born on October 8, 1936 in Apple Creek, Ohio to the late Andrew and Beulah (Hochstetler) Kiener. He graduated from Louisville High School. Merle retired from Teledyne Monarch Rubber Company in 1991 after 33 years of Service. He then was employed by American Tire and Axel and Profile Plastics for 15 years. He was an Army Veteran. Survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Lillie; brothers, Karl (Bonnie) Kiener of Hartville, Dale (Becky) Kiener of Louisville; sisters, Lois (Tom) Kanel of North Canton, Dianne (Richard) Royer of Louisville and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8:00 PM and Thursday from 10-11:00 AM in the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Joel Cochran officiating. Interment will be in Mount Peace Cemetery.
