Merle R. Daniels, age 80, of Canton, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023. Merle was born in Barberton, Ohio to the late Merle W. and Betty L. Daniels. He was retired from the Hoover Company as a tool and die maker. Merle was also a veteran of the US Air Force.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Daniels; sister, Lavon Graham and grandson, Darin Daniels. Merle is survived by 4 children, Elizabeth "Beth" (Ronald) Lampe, Richard (Diane) Daniels, Michael (Kim) Daniels and Katherine (Jerry) Roberts; sisters, Connie Sawyer and Jacqueline Houg; brothers, Danny E. (Carole) Daniels and Garry (Teresa) Dailey; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and best friend Edie Pasquali.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday in the Arnold-Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. NW. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7:00 pm Wednesday. Please sign the tribute page.
