Merle Dean Boll, Sr., of Navarre, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2023. He was born July 7,1933, in Waukee, Iowa. He joined the Army and married his wife, Mary Ann Perich in 1954. They moved to Akron and raised four sons. He retired from East Ohio Gas Company after 34 years of service. After retirement, Merle and Mary moved to South Carolina to pursue their passion for golf year around.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Ann, his parents and his siblings, Merle is survived by his sons, Merle Jr. (Mary Ellen), Ronald (Darlene), Gregory (Paula), Jeffrey (Cynthia).  Eight grandchildren, Zak (Brooke), Zane, Kristi, Kellie, William, September, Travis (partner-Ashley) and Kyle. Two great-grandchildren, Dallon and Zelda.  He lived a wonderful life traveling the country, going to flea markets, and was an avid golfer.

His humor and wit will remain with us forever and he will be dearly missed.

Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of his life with his family will occur at a later date.
