Melvin Arthur Fogel "Mel the Barber" age 87, of Stow, passed away March 3, 2023, in his residence. Melvin was born April 6, 1935, in Canton to Max and Daisy (Cooper) Fogel. He was a local Barber for 65 years and was a member of Shaaray Torah Synagogue.

He is survived by daughter Vicki (Alan) Solomon of Cincinnati; sons, Jeffrey Fogel of Tucson, Arizona, Gary (Susan) Fogel of North Canton, Michael (Chari) Fogel of Columbus, Steven (Kelly) Fogel of Akron, Scott (Shelly) Fogel of Cuyahoga Falls; eight grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Private family funeral services are Tuesday, March 7, 2023, 10:00am at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton with Cantor Bruce Braun officiating. Burial is in Canton Hebrew Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Shaaray Torah Synagogue. the service may be viewed on the Arnold Funeral Home Facebook page.
