Melanie Rosengard, age 63, of Canton passed away March 29, 2024. She was born as one of 6 in Dennison, Ohio on February 22, 1961. She is survived by her husband of almost 35 years, Philip Rosengard; mother Phyllis Green; siblings Lynette Jones (Jeffery Jones), Fountina Green, Glenn Green, Nancy Green, Shawn Green (April Green); many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to her immediate family, she was dearly loved by her extended family which includes the Rosengards and the friends she made and cherished throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her father Charles R. Jordan Sr and her nephew Jeffery Paul Jones Jr.

She is a graduate of Glen Oak High School and Trinity Christian College in Chicago. Melanie was known for her kindness and smile and great laugh. She cherished her time with friends and family, as well as her special girl's night's visiting local restaurants. She enjoyed planning special occasions, trips back to Chicago and Atlanta and shopping excursions. Melanie was always one to remind everyone, "The best is yet to come."

A private Graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at North Lawn Cemetery with Pastor David Ryan officiating.
