Maxine Lois Stanger, age 82, of Canton, passed away Wednesday evening. Maxine was born in Canton to the late Herbert and Ruth (McCall) Everett. A 1952 graduate of McKinley High School, she retired from Canton Maintenance. She was an avid bowler and Cleveland Browns fan to the end. In addition to her parents Maxine was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Carl E. Stanger on September 7, 2006. She is survived by daughters; Gloria J. Stanger and Janet L. Stanger. Grandchildren; Serenity Sparkman, Joshua (Diana) Sparkman, Heather Armstrong and David (Brittany) Armstrong. Eight great-grandchildren also survive. Private serviceswill be held for the family.
