Matthew A. Kraner, age 45 of Canton, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Mercy Medical Center. He was born April 17, 1976, in Topeka, Kansas to Bill and Kaye (Kington) Kraner.

Matt was a 1995 GlenOak graduate. He was currently working as a supervisor for Goldstar Security. Matt loved traveling, especially cruising with his wife. He also enjoyed working with computers, and was a ham radio operator and participated in Ohio Skywarn.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Tina; mother, Kaye Kraner; brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Lisa Kraner; mother-in-law, Linda Baxley; niece, Chelsea Westenberger; nephew, Paul Wellman; one great niece, two great nephews, and his beloved dog, Teddy.

Following cremation, calling hours will be Saturday, December 4, 2021, 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home 1517 Market Ave N., Canton, Ohio 44714. A memorial service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Harmon officiating.

There will also be a gathering of family and friends Sunday December 5, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at The Sugar Bowl, 47 Lincoln Way E., Massillon to continue the celebration of Matt's life.
