Maryanne E. Grant, age 68, of Jackson Township, passed away Saturday morning after a 22 year courageous battle with cancer. Maryanne was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Charles and Mary (Kutchvara) Habay. She graduated from St. Raphael High School in Pittsburgh and received her art degree from Edinboro University in PA. Maryanne was retired from Canton City Schools as an elementary art teacher. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Dick and attending art shows. Maryanne is survived by her husband, Richard of 46 years, Daughter; Kerstin Grant and fiancé Robert Cauckwell, son; R. Jonathan (Rizzia) Grant, and 3 grandchildren; Brach (Emmie) Janney, Victor Grant and Andrew Grant. A private burial is to be held at Foxfield Preserve in Wilmot, OH. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wilderness Center 9877 Alabama Ave. S.W. Wilmot, OH 44689.
