Obituary

Mary Louise Ziegler, age 82, of North Canton, passed on Tuesday January 15, 2019. She was born in Marion, Ohio on Oct 9, 1936, the only child of the late B. A. and Nova Wyile. She attended Marion Harding High School where she was a member of the Girls Athletic Association. While attending high school she worked at the National City Bank and Kresge's. In 1954 she graduated from Marion Harding High School. After high school she was employed by the Marion County Farm Bureau. She was active in the local Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and was a member of the Forest Lawn Presbyterian Church in Marion Ohio.

On Feb 8, 1958 she married her high school sweetheart James Williams Ziegler. They were married for 61 of the 66 years they were together. Mary followed the job assignments of her husband to various locations through the years moving to North Canton in 1970. She joined the workforce holding various secretarial positions within the North Canton School system. Before retiring in 2010, she received the Citizenship Award. She enjoyed being a Girl Scout Leader, Reading, Puzzles, Photography and was a 15 year member of the Camera Club. She enjoyed the creative fun loving family activities filled with laughter. She loved traveling with her husband and the experiences with peoples traveled along the way. Mary was a very kind and gentle soul. She had a loving and generous heart and very giving to others. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her Husband, Daughters and Grandsons.

Survived by her husband James William Ziegler; daughters Beth (John) Eicher, Lisa Ziegler (Louie Melaragno); God daughter Amy Ruff; Grandsons Brandon Eicher (Mindy Lendon), Jeremy Eicher, Zach Ziegler; and great-grandson on the way.

Calling hours are Wednesday 4-7 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Canton. Funeral services are Thursday 11 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Thomas L. Douce officiating. Final resting place is North Lawn Cemetery.

The family is grateful for the loving care and support from Mercy Hospital and Hospice.
